What I hear most from couples is that they want a Ceremony that is simple and short! (I know they're thinking about some of the long, often impersonal Ceremonies they've been to. Also, the less time they have to stand in the 'spotlight', the better!) I understand, too, that while they're wanting simple and short, they're also wanting meaningful and joyful.
Another requirement may also be to design a Ceremony that appeals to two people and their families of different faiths. For me, blending the best of both is a creative challenge I thoroughly enjoy. My reward is a happy and relieved response from the families.
As a professional writer, I'm familiar with many of the Ceremonies downloaded from the internet that people use. Wanting to create something a little more original, I have written a Sample Marriage Ceremony that together we can make personal. This includes many options, one for instance is exchanging your own vows or messages. To help you do this I suggest two key questions you can ask yourself ... just ask me what they are! I can also suggest a simple and visually attractive way to do this.
To enrich your Ceremony there are also such options as music, poems, readings and songs. You can have as many as you like, or none at all. It's your wedding, and the most important thing to me is that you're both 100% happy with the wording and Ceremony in general.
Whether you have a beach, garden or boat wedding - three of the most popular - and whether it's just you and two witnesses or a great gathering of guests, your Ceremony is just as sacred and special with its own unique flavour.
